If We Had Some Ham, We Could Have Some Ham And Eggs, If We Had Some Eggs.

The Politico's Ben Smith thinks that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama might be trying to position themselves to take credit for the success of the troop surge in Iraq.

And Ben highlights some very interesting quotes from the two Senators.

Of course, we don't think that the Democratic Party is nearly nimble enough to pull this off. And they will pay a heavy price if they decide to make a go at what is absolute baloney.

Noted: If the Democrats were smart, they would try to shift the Iraq conversation to the (unsolved, mostly undiscussed) question: What do we do once the troop surge is over in April?

Of course, what do we know?
