Rock & Roll Monday (the "California Ballot Initiative" edition)

Flying up the pop charts: Kate kissed a girl. She liked it. She hopes that her boyfriend don't mind it.

(he probably doesn't)

It's 2008.

Not 1988.

And the only constant is change.

Happy Monday everyone.

A Place Where The Republicans Can Find A Lot Of Communication Know How & A Lot Of Money For '10 (and beyond)

The Atlantic's Josh Green has the story of Obama's money machine. It's a must read for any GOP operator looking to '10 and beyond.

Because why should the Republicans let the Democrats have all the fun?

We have to believe that their are at least some Republicans in Silicon Valley (psst, we actually know one or two of them).

Of course, they're looking for the New New Thing.

Not the next Ronald Reagan.

But that's not a problem for us. Just the opposite.

A GMP1 Shout-Out To Our California Readership

We're starting to get a fair amount of hits off the Left Coast.

We appreciate that.

And yes, we know that a common denominator of our core Cali political readership is disdain for a certain someone that we like to have fun with from time to time on this blog.

When she earns it.

But until that next time, here are two songs going out to Sacramento (and beyond).

Johnny Mac, 51 For 53 In The Big Enchilada

Whoa!

Alright, we admit it, blinded as we are with love for the American hero, even we didn't see McCain winning 51 of California's 53 Congressional districts.

Good Lord.

FLASH: McCain Wins California!!! Will Be Republican Nominee!!!

And the Republican Party has a nominee!!!

Even if the (exact) delegate count doesn't quite reflect it yet!!!

Holy sh*t!!!

Holy f*cking sh*t!!!

Well done Senator!!!

Well done Team McCain!!!

Time to party (there will be plenty of time to "make nice tomorrow", which McCain will do and will do effectively)!!!

One Reason Why Governor Schwarzenegger Chose McCain over Romney

About 3 weeks ago, Team Romney brought Governor Schwarzenegger to their campaign headquarters for an up-close look at the Romney campaign brand.

Arnold, so turned off by what he say, was forced to fight his way out of Romney HQ.

We have some security camera footage of that meeting:

So very snarky!
