Rudy Giuliani - "I Haven't Lobbied For Anything, I've Not Been A Lobbyist"

On the stump in New Hampshire yesterday Rudy Giuliani was asked by a Granite state resident (and MPP activist) about medical marijuana and Giuliani's lobbying work in support of the drug OxyContin, which is made by Purdue Pharma (one of Giuliani Partners very first clients).

Giuliani's response to the woman, at 1:26(ish) on the YouTube counter, is, "I haven't lobbied for anything. I've not been a lobbyist."

That Rudy has never been a lobbyist is news to us.

And to MSNBC.

And most likely to Romney/Thompson/McCain as well.

Of course, for a guy who spent as much time at Ground Zero as all the other first responders, maybe the former Mayor really can have it both ways.
