Four things we know as the Republicans exit the debate stage and we wait for the Democrats to take their place.
First, John McCain had a great night. He looked and sounded Presidential. Probably because Johnny Mac ain't faking a damn thing up on that stage.
Second, Rudy Giuliani was Mayor of New York when the terrorists attacked America on 9-11. No, really. And he wants us to stay on offense.
Third nobody, and we mean nobody, likes Mitt Romney. That includes the candidates on the stage and the press in the file room. We heard anti-Romney jokes in the press room that even we won't print.
Finally, the dinner buffet (sandwiches and sodas) that ABC laid out for the press does not compare favorably with the spreads laid out by Fox and CNN during their NH debates. Two words ABC - "steam tray".
