Don't Block The (Traffic) Box

You know you're back in Washington when you have to start dealing with Presidential motorcades once again.

Like we had to yesterday, late morning outside the Washington Convention Center.

We have nothing but respect for the Secret Service and the job that they do.

But it might be helpful to remember that the only 2 people in the White House who need a motorcade are the President and the First Lady. Especially when those motorcades tie up the lives of the folks who fund them with their tax dollars.

If Supreme Court Justices can drive themselves to and from work (exception: The Chief), then the White House Chief Of Staff can certainly drive himself to work.
