Starting today, the U.S. Senate will begin a conversation about what lobbyists for foreign clients need (and need not) disclose about their activities.
Anyone want to bet a dollar on who Senator Schumer is oh-so-excited to use his soapbox to ask questions about for the next five months?
Hint, it ain't Barack Obama's campaign manager.
Senator McCain has a choice:
He can spend the next five months talking about why he is the candidate of real reform (which he absolutely is).
Or he can spend the next five months talking about what a few members of his campaign staff did and didn't do as lobbyists.
But he cannot do both.
