Justice Kennedy: "The Laws And Constitution Are Designed To Survive, And Remain In Force, In Extraordinary Times."

The United States Supreme Court today ruled 5-4 that foreign terrorism suspects held at Guantanamo Bay have rights under the Constitution to challenge their detention in U.S. civilian courts.

The men and woman who serve at the Supreme Court aren't perfect.

But they're close.

And today they made us proud to be American citizens.
