McCain Works To Firm Up New Hampshire Vets


Lt Col. Orson Swindle (retired), McCain surrogate and super veteran, was in Manchester today to host a Veterans For McCain luncheon.

Approximately 30 vets attended the luncheon.

Mr. Swindle was a POW in Vietnam from 1966-1973 and was McCain's cellmate in the infamous "Hanoi Hilton".

Orson received several awards for valor in combat including two Silver Stars, two Bronze Stars, two Legions of Merit and two Purple Hearts.

Orson also served as a Federal Trade Commissioner from 1997 to 2005.

Noted: As of this posting, Monday Morning Clacker has yet to be awarded a medal of any kind. However, Clacker did tie for 2nd place in a school science fair in third grade.
